Terms & Conditions

Please Note: the below Terms & Conditions apply to residential cleaning services only. Please contact us about commercial and Airbnb questions or any other concerns not listed below.


Scheduling
Below are the approximate times required for an initial cleaning before bringing your home up to our maintenance standard. The length of time depends on the size of the home, level of clutter, amount of soil and dirt buildup.

Studio/1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom 4-6 hours
2 Bedrooms 2 Bathroom 5-7 hours
3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms 7-8 hours
4 Bedrooms 3 Bathrooms 8-9 hours
5 Bedrooms 4+ Bathrooms 10+  hours

All following recurring visits will take substantially less time and cost less if scheduled at least monthly.


***General vs Deep Cleaning:
   
The main difference between a regular and a deep clean is the amount of soil and buildup needed to be cleaned. Our company is not a “wipe-down” service. We take pride in our work and provide meticulous attention to detail and care. We complete the same extensive checklist during a general and a deep clean. The only difference is the dirt level and the time needed to bring the space to a clean state.

The initial cleaning is always scheduled as a deep cleaning and is priced hourly ($80/hour +tax).

After the first cleaning a cheaper flat rate can be determined for all following visits.

  • If it turns out that the state of a home is in an extreme condition that requires substantially longer cleaning times than a full eight (8) hour day, we may ask you to schedule a second cleaning to complete the job. This will depend on the situation and scheduling requirements that day. 
  • A new customer may need multiple hourly cleaning sessions to bring the home to the required condition for future maintenance cleans.
  • We understand that you prefer for us to schedule the same team members for each clean but we cannot always guarantee it. Some days a cleaner may take vacation, a sick or a personal day. Team members are also encouraged to grow their career and may be promoted or can always decide to leave Bloommaid. Another trained and insured professional is always ready to step in.
  • If your home conditions make it challenging for our service providers to complete the cleaning within the estimated timeframe, we may contact you to request permission to extend the cleaning duration. Before proceeding with any additional work, we will notify you of any associated costs. We retain the right to apply supplementary charges to the final cleaning fee for cleanings deemed demanding or inconsistent with the initially provided home description during booking. For best outcomes, please ensure the accuracy of the information provided in the booking form, and keep in mind that an uncluttered environment facilitates our work.



Access
Do I need to be home during the cleaning? You do not!

There are multiple ways for Bloommaid team to access your home/office if you have to step away:

  • Spare Key: You can provide Bloommaid with a spare set of keys to be stored in our manager’s safety box.
  • Concierge: You can leave a set of keys with your front office (if your building happens to have a reception desk or concierge) or with someone who can provide access at the scheduled time.
  • Lock Box is a great option for storing keys. If you have one, great!
  • Access Code: If your door has a keypad with an access code, you can inform Bloommaid.
  • Alternatively, please provide us with detailed instructions on how you prefer for us to access your space.
  • For safety reasons, we will not return keys by mail. We will only physically return keys to the client.
  • Please kindly indicate if there are any special parking instructions, we need to be aware of ahead of the arrival.   



Pre-Arrival List

To expedite and facilitate the process, we ask you for a few things:

  • Your A/C needs to be working.
  • You need to have running water and electricity
  • Ensure that all small items and things on the floor cab really be trashed/vacuumed/swept. We are not responsible for items under the couches and under tight spaces that can easily be sucked in by a vacuum.
  • No other contractors such as plumbers, handy men, electricians or any kind of 3rd party workers should be on site during the cleaning for staff’s safety. Please refrain from scheduling other service during our cleanings.
  • If it’s a move/in-out clean, the space needs to be vacant and ready. No empty boxes, food, items should be laying around. Note that movers, plumbers, handy men or other third-party workers will significantly delay our work process by soiling floors and potentially other areas on site which will result in longer hours.
  • Please provide a 2-step ladder if you have high ceilings or need us to reach an elevated area that needs to be cleaned.



Pets

We Love Pets Very Much and want them to always stay safe. To help us do our best job and finish on time, please consider securing your pets in a way that’s most comfortable and least stressful for them. We will always be checking our surroundings, but we will not be responsible if a pet escapes during our arrival or departure. If your pet tends to be aggressive towards strangers, our team will ask to reschedule. 


Arrival Times

Please allow a two-hour window for our arrival. While no space is the same, we still do our best to accommodate our clients’ needs and always aim to complete the job in time. Some homes can take longer than anticipated. At Bloommaid, we never want to rush out of a client’s home and leave the job unfinished, as we uphold high standards.  We truly value your kind understanding.


Your Safety & Security – We are insured, bonded, background checked!

All our staff members undergo a thorough background check, multiple interviews and trainings. At Bloommaid, everyone is fully insured and bonded. Rest assured that your home, office and belongings are in safe hands!


Discounts (only one (1) discount at a time can be applied toward a bill)

  • Our recurring clients automatically receive a discounted flat rate after the initial visit.
  • All new clients are eligible for a 50% Discount applied to their 2nd cleaning if booked within a month of our 1st visit.

Referral Discount ($50 OFF)

  • Get $50 OFF for every referral! Tell your friends and family about us. If they book and pay for a service, you automatically qualify for a discount towards your next bill.



Billing

New Clients

All new clients must pay an $160 Deposit to secure the booking. We only accept Zelle or Cash at the moment. Our operations are undergoing some changes as we grow. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS (only in rare circumstances with long-term clients and commercial accounts).

Recurring Clients

All recurring clients can make a payment on the day of the cleaning before or after the service. Payments in advance are always welcomed.

All final payments must be made on the day of the cleaning without exceptions.

Prices are not negotiable.


Services Performed:

  • Please use our website to navigate and learn about the services we provide.  Click on the “Services” Tab to read about the overall descriptions of each cleaning service.
  • Please read the “WE DO NOT CLEAN” section under “Services” tab.
  • Each home/office is unique and requires different cleaning products, equipment and approach. During the first visit, our team will take careful notes to help us accommodate your specific needs.
  • All extras (oven, fridge, inside cabinets, baseboards, windows, pets, basement etc.) can be added for an additional charge and will increase the general cleaning times.



Property Breakage & Loss

If you notice any post-service damage or loss, you must immediately report it to our office within 48 hours of the service to be considered. We reserve the right to professionally investigate each case and will require proper proof indicating that the damage or loss was cause by Bloommaid team. Our cleaners are trained to perform an initial walk-through to point out any damage or issues and document before starting.


The 24-hour Guarantee

At Bloommaid we acknowledge the individual and unique needs of each customer, and we understand that there might be occasions where something doesn’t meet your cleaning standards. While we cannot issue refunds, at Bloommaid we are dedicated to addressing any areas that fall short of your expectations promptly. Just notify us of any concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning, and we will gladly arrange a revisit to re-clean any missed areas free of charge.


Tips

While tips are appreciated, they are entirely optional. We encourage you to share your feedback by leaving a review, as it helps us to enhance and expand our services.

Chemicals, Equipment & Tools

Our company uses professional cleaning supplies and equipment. We aim to use mild, non-toxic cleaners for everyday jobs.  In some instances, “Harsh” chemicals are strictly used on tough to clean areas. We are properly trained to perform special projects by using appropriate procedures and protection. If you prefer for us to use your own equipment or chemicals instead, please kindly inform our office in advance, as we need to evaluate your products for our team’s safety before exposure.

We bring our own equipment, such as vacuum, mop, rags, sponges, brushes and other tools. The vacuums are properly cleaned each day. The rest of the equipment is also washed and disinfected after each and every home. We use our best judgement and do not clean homes which are in extreme conditions and may pose a risk to our team’s health and safety. We feel very good about all our clients’ homes whose living conditions are not hazardous to anyone’s health. We do understand that you or someone in your home may be allergic to pet hair or any other particles. Therefore, we expect all clients to inform Bloommaid of any allergies or health risks ahead of time. We can use your equipment and tools instead at any time if needed, as long as we’re informed in advance.

  • Please avoid using chemicals right before our arrival, as they may contaminate and pollute the air and possibly shouldn’t be mixed with other products.    
  • Please inform Bloommaid in advance of any allergies or severe reactions to any specific products that someone in your home or office may develop.
  • Please inform Bloommaid in advance of any allergies to pet hair or any other particles.



Cancellations

  • Cancellations or changes must be made 24 hours or more before a scheduled service.
  • A $50 Fee will be charged if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance.
  • Please call, text or email Bloommaid to cancel in advance. All messages and voice mails will be time stamped to prevent you from being penalized.
  • If you cancel last minute due to an emergency, please kindly submit a document of proof.
  • If you fail to leave a key or for any reason our team is unable to enter your home within 15 minutes of their arrival, you will remain responsible for the booked cleaning in full and no refund will be issued.
  • “Regulars” who continue to cancel or reschedule recurring services frequently, will be switched to a full – “one-time cleaning” rate.



Termination:

Either the client or “we” – Bloommaid LLC can terminate a residential cleaning agreement with a 48-hour notice. If there are any scheduled cleanings within this notice period, the client has the option to proceed with the final clean and pay in full, or they will be responsible for any applicable fees. The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement in cases of non-payment or violation of our Terms & Conditions.


Contract Changes:

Bloommaid LLC reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy at any time. All clients and staff will be notified of any updates via email or other appropriate channels.

Monday -Sunday:  08:00 AM – 08:00 PM ET


Work Photo Documentation

We reserve the right to photograph and video-record our work for documentation and proof of preexisting damage and work completion purposes. We never disclose or take photos of any personal information (documents, photos, paperwork, notes, laptops & computers)

We may use some general images of a kitchen, bathroom or another area for a before and after comparison for simple display of our work and services on our website, Google My Business or social media.

Obligations of Non-Solicitation of Bloommaid employees

By booking our services, you agree to our terms & conditions and therefore agree to follow the rules:

Client SHALL NOT:

  • solicit from the company any employees through oral, written, or electronic communication, including, but not limited to, communications by email, regular mail, express mail, telephone, fax, instant message, and social media, including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and any other social media platform, whether or not in existence at the time of entering into this Agreement or within 12 months of the last service performed by Bloommaid
  • not hire any Bloommaid LLC employees within 12 months of the last service performed by Bloommaid LLC


WE DO NOT:

For the safety of our team, certain services are not included in our cleaning offerings. These exclusions encompass but are not limited to:


WE DO NOT CLEAN:

  • Inside the dishwasher
  • Inside washers & dryers
  • Underneath fridge, oven that don’t have wheels (unless moved by owner) 
  • Underneath super low sitting and heavy furniture (unless moved by the client)
  • All extras are not included during the initial or general clean (can be added for extra charge).
  • Pet messes, beds, litter boxes
  • Walls (unless requested during move-in/out cleaning) 
  • Shower Curtains



WE DO NOT HANDLE:

  • Hazardous materials or substances, including but not limited to blood, waste, human or animal waste, or secretions or any other bio-hazardous materials
  • surfaces exceeding 10 feet in height. However, if a 2-step ladder is provided by the client, our team can utilize it to access elevated areas best to our ability.
  • Hazardous and strong odors like mold, human/animal waste or smoke.
  • Heavy stains on furniture, walls, doors, baseboards, and other surfaces that could potentially get damaged and require professional restoration involved.
  • Upholstery cleaning (we do vacuum couches during a general cleaning)
  • Laundry
  • Cleaning fragile, expensive chandeliers, HVAC/ceiling vents, fragile fixtures, fragile blinds, cabinet liners, exterior windows, drapes, serious, old hard water buildup, mold/paint removal, unfinished basements, furniture moving, heavy lifting, outdoor work, hoarding, excess clutter.
  • We do not remove alive or dead bugs, (including fleas, roaches, rodents, bed bugs, etc.) in infested homes which need professional pest control treatment.
  • Our team will not be able to complete work in spaces infested with rats, mice, bugs or any other creatures or insects which could cause harm to our staff.
  • Cleaning tasks involving trash cans, litter boxes, pet messes, or pet beds.
  • We do not open entrance doors or let anyone inside the home/office. (except Bloommaid employees and our contractors scheduled that day). 
  • We do not accept or carry any mail or packages at any time.
  • We are not liable for any lost or damaged packages and mail at any time.
  • Our team will not lift or move heavy furniture or items.
  • We are unable to touch, move or relocate firearms to free up any space for cleaning purposes.
  • We limit the use of bleach unless instructed by the client.
  • We will not clean or scrub your garden, patio or any outside area. We will use our best judgement to tidy up any excess mess if needed on small balconies or areas if time permits. 
  • We will not work in spaces that are unsafe or have a hazardous environment. Examples include but are not limited to spaces with: spilled chemicals, feces, blood, urine, biohazardous materials, free roaming toxic or venomous animals/species, excessive amounts of broken glass, excessive amounts of post construction dust (post construction cleanups must be booked specifically in advance), excessive amounts of mold, flooded spaces, collapsing spaces, freshly painted or chemically treated spaces, spaces occupied by aggressive, intoxicated or unstable individuals.
