Terms & Conditions

Kindly note that the Terms & Conditions below apply to residential cleaning and services only. For questions about commercial space, or anything not covered here, we’ll be happy to assist you directly.


***General vs Deep Cleaning:
   

The main difference between a general cleaning and a deep cleaning lies in the level of soil and buildup that needs to be addressed. At Bloommaid, we’re not a simple “wipe-down” service — we take pride in delivering thorough, detail-oriented cleanings with genuine care.

Both our general and deep cleanings follow the same comprehensive checklist. The difference comes down to the condition of the home and the time required to restore the space to Bloommaid’s high standard of cleanliness.

All initial cleanings — including move-in and move-out services — are treated as deep cleanings and are billed hourlydue to the level of detail and time required.

After this first visit, we’ll establish a lower flat rate for your recurring maintenance cleanings based on the home’s condition and upkeep needs.

 

Scheduling
The times listed below reflect the average duration of an initial cleaning, required to bring your home up to our maintenance standard. Actual time may vary depending on the home’s size, clutter level, and buildup.

Studio/1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom 4-6 man-hours (*a man-hour is the time needed for one (1) cleaner to complete a job) 
2 Bedrooms 2 Bathroom 5-8 man-hours
3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms 7-8 man-hours
4 Bedrooms 3 Bathrooms 8-10 man-hours
5 Bedrooms 4+ Bathrooms 10+  man-hours

Subsequent recurring visits will be more time-efficient and offered at a reduced rate when maintained on a monthly or more frequent schedule.

  • If the home is exceptionally large or in a condition that requires more extensive work than can reasonably be completed in a full day (10–12 hours), we may recommend scheduling a second visit to ensure the job is completed thoroughly.
  • A new customer may need multiple hourly cleaning sessions to bring the home to the required condition for future maintenance cleans.
  • We know how important consistency is and always do our best to schedule the same cleaners for your home. However, there may be times when a team member is unavailable due to vacation, illness, or personal reasons. Our cleaners are also encouraged to advance in their careers, which sometimes leads to team changes.

    If that happens, another trained and insured Bloommaid professional will step in — ensuring your home still receives the same level of care and quality you can count on.

  • If your home conditions make it challenging for our service providers to complete the cleaning within the estimated timeframe, we may contact you to request permission to extend the cleaning duration. Before proceeding with any additional work, we will notify you of any associated costs. We retain the right to apply supplementary charges to the final cleaning fee for cleanings deemed demanding or inconsistent with the initially provided home description during booking. For best outcomes, please ensure the accuracy of the information provided in the booking form, and keep in mind that an uncluttered environment facilitates our work. 

 

Access

Do I need to be home during the cleaning? You do not!

There are multiple ways for Bloommaid team to access your home when you’re away:

  • Spare Key: You can provide Bloommaid with a spare set of keys to be stored in our manager’s safety box.
  • Concierge: You can leave a set of keys with your front office (if your building happens to have a reception desk or concierge) or with someone who can provide access at the scheduled time.
  • Lock Box is a great option for storing keys. If you have one, great!
  • Access Code: If your door has a keypad with an access code, you can inform Bloommaid.
  • Alternatively, please provide us with detailed instructions on how you prefer for us to access your space.
  • For safety reasons, we will not return keys by mail. We will only physically return keys to the client.
  • Please kindly indicate if there are any special parking instructions we need to be aware of ahead of the arrival.   

 

Pre-arrival List

To expedite and facilitate the cleaning process, we kindly ask you for a few things:

  • Your A/C needs to be working.
  • You need to have running water and electricity
  • Please make sure that any small items or belongings on the floor are safe to be vacuumed, swept, or discarded. Bloommaid is not responsible for items that may be hidden under couches or in tight spaces and could be accidentally vacuumed or damaged during cleaning.
  • No other contractors such as plumbers, handy men, electricians or any kind of 3rd party workers should be on site during the cleaning. For safety and liability reasons we won’t be able to complete the job with other workers on site. Please refrain from scheduling other service during our cleanings. You will still be charged at full rate. 
  • During a move-in or move-out cleaning, the space must be completely vacant and free of all personal belongings, boxes, and food items so our team can clean efficiently and thoroughly.

    Please note that the presence of movers, contractors, plumbers, handymen, or any other third-party workers during the cleaning may significantly delay our progress. If any third party re-enters the space and causes dirt or mess after our cleaning, Bloommaid cannot be held responsible for the resulting condition or quality concerns.

  • Please provide a 2-step ladder if you have high ceilings or need us to reach an elevated area that needs to be cleaned. We only bring a stepping stool. Our insurance does not allow us to climb anything higher than a two-step ladder. 

 

Pets

We love pets and want to make sure they’re always safe and comfortable during our visit. To help our team work efficiently and finish on time, please secure your pets in a way that’s most comfortable and least stressful for them.

While we’re always mindful of our surroundings, Bloommaid cannot be held responsible if a pet escapes during arrival or departure. If a pet shows signs of aggression or discomfort around strangers, our team may request to reschedule the cleaning for everyone’s safety.


Arrival Times

Please allow a one-hour window for our arrival. While no space is the same, we still do our best to accommodate our clients’ needs and always aim to complete the job in time. Some homes can take longer than anticipated. At Bloommaid, we never want to rush out of a client’s home and leave the job unfinished, as we uphold high standards.  We truly value your kind understanding. 


Your Safety & Security – We are insured, bonded, background checked!

All our staff members undergo a thorough background check, multiple interviews and trainings. At Bloommaid, everyone is fully insured and bonded. Rest assured that your home, office and belongings are in safe hands!


Discounts 

  • Only one (1) discount at a time can be applied toward a bill
  • Our recurring clients automatically receive a discounted flat rate after the initial visit.
  • All new clients receive 50% off their second cleaning when it’s scheduled within one month of the first visit.
  • Share the Bloommaid experience with your friends and family — when they book and complete a cleaning, you’ll automatically receive $50 off your next service.
  • We truly value our loyal customers and celebrate them with special complimentary offers each anniversary of their service with Bloommaid.

 

Billing

New Clients

  • A $150 deposit is required to secure all new client bookings.
  • We accept credit/debit card or Zelle payments only.
  • Please note, checks are not accepted.

 

Recurring Clients

  • All recurring clients may make full payment on the day of service, either before or after the cleaning.
  • For your convenience, we encourage adding a credit card on file to enable secure, automated payments.
  • Please note that all payments must be completed on the day of cleaning.
  • Please note that Bloommaid reviews and adjusts rates annually to reflect rising operational costs and maintain our high quality standards.


Services Performed:

  • We invite you to visit our website to explore the full range of services we provide.

  • Every home is unique and may require different products, equipment, and cleaning methods. During your first visit, our team will take careful notes to better understand your preferences and tailor our approach to your specific needs.

  • Please note that add-on services—such as cleaning the oven, refrigerator, inside cabinets, baseboards, windows, basements, and more—are available for an additional charge and may extend the total cleaning time.

 

Property Breakage & Loss

If you notice any damage or loss following a service, it must be reported to our office within 48 hours of the appointment in order to be considered.

Bloommaid reserves the right to professionally investigate each claim, and verifiable proof will be required to determine that the damage or loss was caused by our team.

Please note that our cleaners are trained to perform an initial walk-through before beginning each service to identify and document any pre-existing damage or concerns.


The 24-hour Guarantee

At Bloommaid we acknowledge the individual and unique needs of each customer, and we understand that there might be occasions where something doesn’t meet your cleaning standards. While we cannot issue refunds, at Bloommaid we are dedicated to addressing any areas that fall short of your expectations promptly. Just notify us of any concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning, and we will gladly arrange a revisit to re-clean any missed areas free of charge.


Tips

While tips are appreciated, they are optional. We encourage you to share your feedback by leaving a review, as it helps us to enhance and expand our services.

 

Chemicals, Equipment & Tools

Bloommaid uses professional-grade cleaning products and equipment to ensure safe, effective, and consistent results. We prioritize mild, non-toxic cleaners for everyday use and reserve stronger products only for specific areas such as sinks, toilets, showers, and ovens, where they are used carefully and rinsed thoroughly afterward. Our team is fully trained to perform specialized cleaning projects using the proper methods, protective gear, and safety procedures. For liability and safety reasons, we are unable to use client-supplied chemicals.

We bring all necessary cleaning equipment, including vacuums, mops, cloths, sponges, brushes, and other tools. All vacuums are emptied and sanitized after each service, and all cleaning tools are washed and disinfected between homes. If you prefer, we are happy to use your personal vacuum—just let us know in advance.

Bloommaid reserves the right to decline service in environments that pose a health or safety risk, including homes with pest infestations, active mold, smoke, or other hazardous conditions. We take pride in maintaining safe, clean, and healthy work environments for both our clients and our team members.

If you or anyone in your household has allergies or health sensitivities, please inform us prior to your appointment. When notified in advance, we can accommodate by using your own equipment or alternative tools as needed.

  • Please avoid using chemicals right before our arrival, as they may contaminate and pollute the air and possibly shouldn’t be mixed with other products.    
  • Please inform Bloommaid in advance of any allergies or severe reactions to any specific products that someone in your home or office may develop.
  • Please inform Bloommaid in advance of any allergies to pet hair or any other particles.

 

Cancellations

  • Cancellations or schedule changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment.

  • A $75 fee will apply to any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service.
    To avoid penalties, please call, text, or email Bloommaid to cancel in advance — all messages and voicemails are time-stamped for verification.

  • In the event of a last-minute emergency, supporting documentation may be requested for consideration.

  • If our team is unable to access your home within 15 minutes of arrival due to a missing key, locked entry, or any other obstruction, you will be charged in full for the scheduled service, and no refund will be issued.

  • Clients on a recurring schedule who frequently cancel or reschedule may be moved to the one-time cleaning rate.

 

Termination

Either the client or “we” – Bloommaid LLC can terminate a residential cleaning agreement with a 48-hour notice. If there are any scheduled cleanings within this notice period, the client has the option to proceed with the final clean and pay in full, or they will be responsible for any applicable fees. The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement in cases of non-payment or violation of our Terms & Conditions.


Terms & Conditions Changes

Bloommaid LLC reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy at any time. All clients and staff will be notified of any updates via email or other appropriate channels.

Work Photo Documentation

Bloommaid reserves the right to photograph or video-record work areas for documentation purposes, including proof of pre-existing damage, service completion, and quality assurance.

We take client privacy very seriously — our team will never photograph or record any personal items or sensitive information, such as documents, photos, computers, or other private belongings.

From time to time, we may use general before-and-after images of cleaned spaces (for example, kitchens, bathrooms, or living areas) to demonstrate our quality of work on our website, Google Business profile, or social media platforms. No identifying or private details will ever be shown.

Bloommaid sincerely appreciates your trust, understanding, and support as we continue to uphold high standards and improve our services.


Obligations of Non-Solicitation of Bloommaid employees

By booking our services, you agree to our terms & conditions and therefore agree to follow the rules:

Client SHALL NOT:

  • Solicit from the company any employees through oral, written, or electronic communication, including, but not limited to, communications by email, regular mail, express mail, telephone, fax, instant message, and social media, including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and any other social media platform, whether or not in existence at the time of entering into this Agreement or within 12 months of the last service performed by Bloommaid
  • Not hire any Bloommaid LLC employees within 12 months of the last service performed by Bloommaid LLC


WE DO NOT:

For the safety of our team, certain services are not included in our cleaning offerings. These exclusions encompass but are not limited to:


WE DO NOT CLEAN:

  • Inside the dishwasher
  • Underneath fridge and oven (unless moved by owner) 
  • Underneath super low sitting and heavy furniture (unless moved by the client)
  • Pet messes, pet beds, litter boxes
  • Walls (unless requested by client) 
  • Shower Curtains
  • Toilet Brushes 
  • All extras are not included during the initial or general clean (can be added for extra charge).

 

WE DO NOT HANDLE:

  • Hazardous materials or substances, including but not limited to blood, waste, human or animal waste, or secretions or any other bio-hazardous materials
  • Surfaces exceeding 10 feet in height. However, if a 2-step ladder is provided by the client, our team can utilize it to access elevated areas best to our ability.
  • Hazardous and strong odors like mold, human/animal waste or smoke.
  • Heavy stains on furniture (unless you book an upholstery cleaning service), walls and other surfaces that could potentially get damaged and require professional restoration involved.
  • Upholstery cleaning (we do vacuum couches and chairs if needed)
  • Cleaning fragile, expensive chandeliers, HVAC/ceiling vents, fragile fixtures, fragile blinds, cabinet liners, exterior windows, drapes, serious, old hard water buildup, mold/paint removal, unfinished basements
  • Furniture moving, heavy lifting, outdoor work, hoarding, excess clutter (must book an organizing service first)
  • We do not remove alive or dead bugs, (including but not limited to fleas, roaches, rodents, bed bugs, etc.) in infested homes which need professional pest control treatment.
  • Our team will not be able to complete work in spaces infested with rats, mice, bugs or any other creatures or insects which could cause harm to our staff.
  • Cleaning tasks involving trash cans, litter boxes, pet messes, or pet beds. (Only trash can exterior will be polished) 
  • We do not open entrance doors or let anyone inside the home (except Bloommaid employees and our contractors scheduled that day). 
  • We do not accept or carry any mail or packages at any time.
  • We are not liable for any lost or damaged packages and mail at any time.
  • Our team will not lift or move heavy furniture or items.
  • We are unable to touch, move or relocate firearms to free up any space for cleaning purposes.
  • We do not use bleach containing products.
  • We do not clean any outside spaces (patios, balconies, terraces, driveways etc.) 
  • We will not work in spaces that are unsafe or have a hazardous environment. Examples include but are not limited to spaces with: spilled chemicals, feces, blood, urine, biohazardous materials, free roaming toxic or venomous animals/species, excessive amounts of broken glass, excessive amounts of post construction dust (post construction cleanups must be booked specifically in advance), excessive amounts of mold, flooded spaces, collapsing spaces, freshly painted or chemically treated spaces, spaces occupied by aggressive, intoxicated or unstable individuals.

Bloommaid
